Drupal Core Modules
This is a list of some of the Drupal core modules that can be important in a Drupal-based ELN.

| Book | Puts the pages into a navigable book format | Useful for writing up labs or writing up lab procedures and protocols in one coherent structure |
| Upload | Allows uploading of files that will then be attached to a given page | Useful for uploading experimental results in a format that may not be native to the given installation. For example, Excel files for data, Word files for write-ups or image files for pictures of results can be uploaded to given pages. |
